Stairs
The stairs in this house are important from the aspect that they are seen several times in the movie so they must be in the house. Plus, the staircase when installed will hide the electrical wiring.
White posts and spindles. Stained handrail. And there's that gray floor again. |
I've started building the steps to the second floor. I have always had a difficult time getting the spindles to line up and stay stationary while I glue them so I am trying an experiment. |
I have pushed a small brad into the spindle and I have drilled a hole into the step. I plan on trying to get everything to lineup and stay there by gluing the brad into the hole when I assemble it. |
I changed my mind about how to run the balusters. Instead of attaching to each step, I'm attaching to a rail. |
