The bakehouse from the outside. This was built as part of the Greenleaf Spring Fling contest using one of their kits as a template.

Bread is baking in the oven. The bakehouse is covered with a type of air dry clay. Much like paperclay.
The bread oven is accessible from the inside or outside. Wood heats the oven to an even temperature and then the dough is place in the oven to bake.
The other side of the bake house has a glazed window.
The slate roof of the bakehouse is covered with lichen and moss like a lot of the cottages I saw in England.
Herbs dry on rustic beams in the bakehouse.
The baker uses flour, water, yeast, and butter to make their bread. The table is made out of walnut tree that actually grew on my parents property.
The baker uses a paddle to move bread in and out of the oven. I made the paddle out of the same wood as the table.
